This short, 6 inch, cable is designed to help prevent the loss or theft of the gas cap as installed on all models of the 1960-1964 Ford Falcon except the Sprint or Futura. The cable has a small washer attached on one end which is used to attach the cable to the cap. The other end of the cable has a loop which is attached to one of the filler neck retaining screws. This part will also fit the gas caps of the 1960-1963 Mercury Comet.
