This is the spring that fits under the steering wheel and the bottom of which rests on the steering column bearing sleeve. The pressure from the tightening of the steering wheel will compress this spring aginst the bearing sleeve and help keep the steering column shaft centered. This part will fit all models of the 1960-1965 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet.
