This is a pair of upper shaft kits for all models of the 1961-1965 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet. They are mounted on the upper control arm and are generally the part most prone to squeaking in the front suspension of these vehicles. This price is for a PAIR which is enough to do both sides of one vehicle.
This is a modern updated part, as much as an upper contol arm or it's bushings can be called "modern" or "updated".
Seriously, these adjusting nut grease seals are o-rings located on the inside of the adjusting nuts. The originals used rubber boots on the outside of the adjusting nuts to retain the grease. Those seals were subject to a very harsh environment which caused their deterioration and let the grease leak out or dry up and then the squeaking would begin. By locating the seals (o-rings) inside of the the adjusting nuts, all of those negative effects were removed and these shaft kits should be quiet for a very long time.
