This part is the fuel sending unit designed to fit all models 1964-1965 Mercury Comets except for Station Wagons. Fits directly inside the fuel tank.
This part includes the square cut o-ring seal and the float. Does not include the retaining ring.
Please check the filter before installing, making sure it is not completely pressed against the fill tube, this could cause the fuel pump to not get enough fuel to the engine.
