This part is the trunk lock cylinder designed to be used in the trunk lock of all models of the 1964 - 65 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet.

When using this cylinder with the reproduction housing you DO NOT use the o-ring.

Ford used 2 different trunk housings in 1964. One version had an inner shoulder of 1/4", the other had an inner shoulder of 3/8". This lock cylinder is used with the trunk lock housing that has the 3/8" inner shoulder. Also to be used with the reproduction trunk lock housings.
